I purchased this from an antique jewelry explore in France.

This is a dormeuse design, where the hook is passed from behind the earlobe to the front and then attached to the hole in the motif.
This type is pleasant to wear even while sleeping, and is also known as a sleeper earring.

It has elaborate decorations and openwork on the sides, indicating a handcrafted construction. However, there are various damages such as dents and discoloration, which is reflected in the price.
